At St. Stephen’s we strive to offer a well-rounded experience for our young people, fostering their growth through learning, service, worship participation, and fellowship opportunities that help them form meaningful friendships with others.

Attend worship and see our young people in action as acolytes, readers, and musicians. A weekly children’s sermon offers the chance for kids to connect to the week’s bible readings.

There are multiple educational opportunities for our children and youth at St. Stephen’s. For more information, please see the Children and Youth section under education.

Fellowship events throughout the year typically include movie nights, local outings for activities like bowling, campfires at the pastor’s house, and our annual canoe trip, among other events. See our church calendar for a complete itinerary of upcoming fellowship events for all ages. Look for information on junior high and high school retreats at Koinonia, a Lutheran camp in the Hudson Valley. Also stay tuned for updates on our high schoolers’ participation in the ELCA’s national youth gathering, which will welcome around 30,000 high school youth to Houston, Texas in 2018.
